I'm so going to come visit.

totally coming to visit. i may never leave, as we just today received a rent increase and it's really depressed me.

Good news! It will make us feel better about living in such an absurdly big house if you all come and live with us. And we can all babysit for each other. Something of a May 68 fantasy of mine actually.

as long as it can NOT be may 1968 as realized by bertolucci.

no hanky panky between brother and sister, thank you very much. No, I was really thinking about a new film called 'Nes en 68' about communal living and free love (that all falls apart, natch). Of course I don't want to frolic naked, no sirree, not at my age. But it might be fun to live non-nuclear, no?

Am liking the non-nuclear thing myself too at the moment - my sister and her daughter are here often now and it's nice with the house full of people. Though they do have to be the right people. Wouldn't fancy communing with your neighbour. Ick yuck. Great colours, great hole in the wall. The beauty of your house will keep the kibbutzim (?) cheerful. The Hole in the Wall Gang?

PS OF COURSE I am still reading this. MORE photos, MORE text... what is going on with the garden?

i agree with cath about nudging you for MORE POSTS. surely something has happened with your house since you last posted.

jenny said...

tomorrow? 39!!!!

Cath said...

yay, new post tomorrow! hot here too. if it is any comfort (maybe not) the plumbing under our bath leaked and water came through our dining room ceiling. sigh. see, not so finished, after all...

Natasha said...

My dear Cath, in what way would that be a comfort?
Am going to take lots of pics tomorrow and post again. sorry not today. a useless day, exhaustion in my very bones.
